Miniature golf players of all ages are invited into the Glen Ellyn Public Library.

The players will compete for a chance to win the coveted Glen Ellyn Cup. The action heats up from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24.

One may assemble a foursome, or more competitors, and play 18 holes of miniature golf inside the library. The cost is $5 per person to play, with proceeds earmarked to help fund special events such as BookFest 2014.

The game is sponsored by the Friends of the Glen Ellyn Library and the Glen Ellyn Public Library Foundation.

Book sales
Overlapping the miniature golf event, a used book sale will be held by Friends of the Library in the library's basement. The group also will conduct a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18.

The library is at 400 Duane St. For more information, visit www.gepl.org or call 630- 469-0879.
