The Bloomingdale Garden Club springs into 2014 with its annual business meeting, welcoming gardeners of all ages and experience. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Discussed will be plans for the annual flower sale in May, and the organization's charitable endeavors.

The club presents expert speakers on gardening topics monthly, and organizes field trips. Visitors are invited to drop in at the annual meeting and meet the members.

The group gathers on the lower level of the Bloomingdale Police Department, 201 S. Bloomingdale Road. Admission is free, with more information on the organization offered at
