By Suburban Life Media
When Ballydoyle in Downers Grove isn't putting on its own rockin' lineup of live entertainment, it opens its doors to local youth flexing their rock chops. This weekend brings one such concert starring students from the town's Rock Academy.
"Hooray for Hollywood" begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Ballydoyle Pub, 5157 Main St. It will pay tribute to great rock and roll soundtracks used in film.
You'll hear favorites from such movies as "Easy Rider," "Shrek 2, "Breakfast Club," "Caddyshack" and "Ghostbusters," as well as music from Paramore, Green Day, Neil Young and Imagine Dragons, note organizers. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
