The Senior Suburban Orchestra offers sight-reading sessions for orchestral musicians, as a way for them to get together and play. Two summer sessions in Downers Grove are open to all ages, with no membership requirement. The events will be conducted by Dan Pasquale D’Andrea from 1 to 3:15 p.m. Tuesdays, July 9 and Aug. 13.

D'Andrea is music director for the SSO, as well as conductor of Sinfonia Bel Canto and the College of DuPage Chamber Orchestra. Refreshments will be served.

The event is held in Oak Trace Baptist Home at 200 Village Drive, Downers Grove.

The gathering is free with no age limit. People are asked to register before July 1 with Lori at 630-935-7103 or lsd542000@yahoo.com.
