American hip-hop artist Steven Markowitz, better known by his stage name Hoodie Allen, headlines a concert that also features opening acts Outasight and The Ready Set at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

The concert is set in North Central College's Residence Hall/Recreation Center, 440 S. Brainard St., Naperville. Tickets cost $20 for the general public, $10 for North Central College students; call 630-637-SHOW (7469) or visit

The concert is presented by North Central College's Fine and Performing Arts, College Union Activities Board and Office of Alumni Relations.

The New York-bred pop artist Outasight is supporting his debut album, "Nights Like These." Released in November via Warner Bros. Records, the album features his platinum hit single “Tonight Is The Night,” which Outasight has performed on "The X Factor," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," and during half-time of the NHL All-Star Game alongside Drake.

Concert organizers say the don’t-worry-let’s-party anthem became the most-added song on Top 40 radio in its first week, and has been featured in national ad campaigns for Pepsi, Honda and Pizza Hut.

"Nights Like These" also includes the single “Now or Never” and his latest single, “I’ll Drink To That,” for which a new video is out.

The 10-track LP has received praise, with Rolling Stone stating, “Outasight knows a good time, and on his fun-loving debut record 'Nights Like These,' the Yonkers, New York, native has a blast mixing pop, rock and rap into a potent cocktail.”
