A show with an unlikely comic premise opens this weekend. "One O'Clock from the House" revolves around the funeral of an elderly father, whose family members are not your average group of mourners in this comedy of personalities and situations.

Directing the Palos Village Players production is David Groebe of Lemont, and local cast members include Terry Griffin of Lemont, and Nancy Martin of Willowbrook. The show runs until Mother's Day in the Palos Park Recreation Center, 8901 W. 123rd St., Palos Park.
